Karen Betts is one of the most respected names in permanent cosmetics and aesthetics in the UK, with a reputation built over decades. The brand is built around Karen’s expertise and her team of specialists, with a loyal client base and a growing national profile.
We were brought in to redesign and rebuild the website on a modern headless stack. The existing WordPress site had become difficult to manage and slow to adapt. The business needed a better way to publish and maintain content, and the previous platform was holding them back - no longer reflecting the brand’s premium positioning or ambitions.
We started by mapping out the key areas of the business - Karen Betts herself, her team of experts, and the range of services offered - and how best to serve users engaging with one or more of them. The new design brings clarity and structure to a wide-ranging offer, making the site feel both aspirational and easy to navigate.
On the tech side, we moved the site to a headless stack using Strapi as the CMS, giving the internal team far greater control over content creation and updates - without the risks and overhead of a traditional monolithic platform. This modular approach has made it easier for the team to adapt to future needs without compromise.
