Challenge

German company, BetterGuards, have set about drastically reducing the number of ankle injuries in hikers. About 40% of all hiking injuries affect the ankle because uneven and unfamiliar terrain vastly increases the risk of painful twisting.

Our challenge was to help launch an exciting new footwear brand – Terrein – into the competitive outdoor market.

The boot's innovative technology combines natural freedom of motion with effective joint protection, offering great comfort and exceptional safety.

Solution

We produced all digital creative and development for the new product range, modelling and animating the product in 3D prior to production and retail roll-out.

These assets fed into the new Terrein website, with an online product experience to appropriately position the brand and showcase its uniquely impressive features.

Results

BetterGuards was selected as one of the NBA’s official 2022 Launchpad Portfolio Companies – the US basketball league’s ongoing initiative to source, evaluate and pilot emerging technologies that impact the future of the game.
