SIZE? Retail

Immersive LED content and interactive product storytelling

Overview

Size? is a leading footwear and streetwear retailer known for exclusive sneaker collaborations and curated retail experiences. For the launch of its Paris flagship store, the brand wanted to create a digital installation that matched the scale of the space and the cultural energy of the city.

Working with Nike, Northern Artillery designed and produced immersive LED screen content and an interactive projection-mapped “Genius” table, allowing customers to explore the innovation and cultural impact behind some of Nike’s most iconic sneaker silhouettes.

Challenge

The flagship launch required a strong multi-brand presence that celebrated Size?, Nike and the cultural identity of Paris. The work needed to feel premium, distinctive and technically ambitious while integrating naturally with the architecture of the space.

Both installations had to operate as visual landmarks within the store, encouraging exploration and interaction while reinforcing the storytelling behind Nike’s footwear innovation.

Our Approach

The project brought together Northern Artillery’s integrated creative team across creative direction, strategy, CGI and motion design.

Working collaboratively across disciplines allowed us to develop a unified visual language that connected the different installations while ensuring each element worked within the physical constraints and opportunities of the retail space.

Feature Screen Installation

The flagship’s LED screen spans two floors and wraps onto the ceiling, requiring content that could operate seamlessly across multiple surfaces.

Creative research explored Parisian digital street art, Nike’s cushioning technologies and the exposed pipework running through the store’s architecture. Colour inspiration was drawn from the iconic Pigalle Basketball Court, helping anchor the installation in the visual culture of the city.

The final piece combined pixel-driven transitions, sculptural digital forms and flowing pipe motifs that visually connected the architecture and the brands. Engineered specifically for the screen’s unusual format, the animation moves fluidly from wall to ceiling, transforming the installation into a fully immersive centrepiece.

Interactive Genius Table

Alongside the large screen, Northern Artillery developed an interactive projection-mapped table designed to bring product storytelling to life.

The “Genius” table allows customers to explore five iconic Nike silhouettes: the Air Force 1, Dunk, Vomero, Air Max 1 and Air Max 95.

Using gesture recognition and projection mapping, visitors can interact directly with the table surface to uncover the history, technology and cultural impact of each shoe. The visual approach combined a paper-inspired aesthetic with CGI and motion content, creating a tactile visual language that felt both playful and premium.

The result is an intuitive, hands-on experience that turns product education into an engaging and memorable moment within the store.

Result

The Paris flagship launch created a bold digital centrepiece that brought together architecture, storytelling and interaction.

The installations helped establish the store as a destination within the global Size? network, generating strong visual impact in-store while creating shareable moments across social media.

For Northern Artillery, the project demonstrates our ability to combine immersive content, spatial design and interactive technology to transform physical environments into engaging brand experiences.
