Harrison Spinks instigated a competitive pitch process to migrate its product and lifestyle image libraries from photography to CGI – an unprecedented move for the heritage business which dates back to 1840.
We proved successful on account of our expertise in the field of interior visualisations, as well as our ongoing experience working for several other bed and mattress manufacturers.
With clear focus on achieving photorealism through our meticulous design process, the switch to 3D relied upon the experience we have previously gained in building exact replica models of products and the variety of their finishes.
Utilising the same technology we routinely deploy to create CGIs used in property marketing, the studio has worked through Harrison Spinks’ extensive product libraries to recreate each and every item in 3D, as well as building the room set environments in which they can be placed to demonstrate a more lifestyle-oriented perspective.
Aside from the substantial time/cost savings gained by abandoning the need to hire, dress and correctly light studio spaces – not to mention the cost of product manufacture/transport and photography – the switch to 3D now grants our client the opportunity to display new products on its website before the first item has even rolled off the production line.
